Safe Use of Candles
With candles, appropriate handling is crucial for safe burning behaviour. Below we explain the pictograms most frequently found on candle packagings.

![]() | Do not place burning candles on or near anything that can catch fire. | |
![]() | Always place candles in suitable holders. | |
![]() | Protect candles from draughts, otherwise they might produce soot, burn unevenly, and drip. | |

![]() | Flames should be snuffed out. Do not blow out candles. | |

![]() | Do not move burning candles as this will cause liquid wax to drip. | |
